BET Nightly News- Producer

Coordinator/Executive Producer, BET News Program

I coordinated the internship
program for the news department at BET. As a result of long hours, dedicated interns, and hard-working editors and photographers,
the students produced a 60-minute Public Affairs Program. At the conclusion, the students presented their achievement to the
entire BET News team.
I specialize in human interests stories:
Colonel Bailey

Margaret E. Bailey, the first Black nurse to achieve
the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Nurse Corp. (Produced a Feature, BET NEWS)
Tuskegee Airmen

The Tuskegee Airmen were the first Black pilots
in the U.S. armed forces, receiving training at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. They flew over fifteen thousand planes,
over fifteen hundred missions, shot down or damaged over four hundred enemy aircraft, and never lost an American bomber to
enemy fighter aircraft. (Produced Black History Spotlight, BET NEWS)
