In
the Summer of 2005 Link Media brought the “We Got Issues” project to the Westover Community Center,
Richmond Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities. Link Media worked with
young people for 2-hours twice a week, for 6 weeks. The children learned about producing a show for television. During the
6-week program the children thought of an idea for a 1-hour television show. They learned how to interview and talk on camera,
and they became familiar with the television production process- pre-production, production, and post-production. At the end
of the program, the children actually produced a live call-in show on public access about teens and violence. Read the article
